A big shout out for this 5 Star, Top Shelf Physical Therapy Practice on Pleasant St, in Watertown, MA. After a fractured hip and torn Achilles Tendon the consistent focused PT from Andrew, his guidance to begin an at-home exercise plan and his careful research regarding the genetic medical syndrome I have created a Michelin Star recipe for my total recovery. He shares his physical therapy knowledge with his patients. I have a better understanding of my recovery and maintenance of my body for the long haul thanks to Andrew. He treats and he teaches his patients. He contacts his patient’s healthcare providers which allows him to be on the same page of the patients healthcare. The gym exercise equipment is fabulous state of the art equipment. There is free indoor parking, yay!!! The Charles River flows behind the bldg, there is a walking path along the River, there are a few small eateries in the bldg complex as well as a small market due to open soon. I am excited about that convenience. Two thumbs up to In PT Cadence and thanks superb healing treatment/care.Posted on Google

I am, frankly, accident prone. So, I’ve been a frequent user of PT services over many years. In the past, the Physical Therapists I’ve seen were competent …but mechanical. My experience at PT in Cadence has been quite different. I saw Andrew Provost, first for a broken leg and badly strained ankle. Almost as soon as I recovered, I was back to work on intractable neck stiffness. Two things, in particular, stand out for me. First, Andrew didn’t just assign exercises. He tailored everything to my individual abilities and preferences, using my feedback to refine my treatment plan AND he took the time to ensure that I fully understood the nature of my injuries and the way in which specific therapies would contribute to my eventual improvement and recovery. This is invaluable for maintaining effort. PT involves steady but often frustratingly slow progress towards a goal. Knowing how it all works and what is realistic to expect helps patients to maintain focus and resist the temptation to slack off. Second and, perhaps, most important, everyone at PT in Cadence is warm, engaging, often humorous, with a genuine concern for their patients’ wellbeing. To put the matter simply, if you need to spend an hour a week in PT, in helps to pass the time in the company of people you genuinely like and enjoy.Posted on Google

Pt in cadence is the best. Meaghan has always come through for me. As I’ve aged whenever I’ve needed a little or giant reset for one muscle, nerve or joint she’s called on her complete knowledge of how people are put together and come up with a helpful treatment. She thinks both in and out of the box! 🙂. The environment is friendly and not at all corporate. So check it out and fix that that little pain before it gets big. Highly recommend PT In Cadence. Andrew is a fantastic physical therapist, and he helped me recover from a debilitating back and neck injury and get back to full, regular activities in just a few months. He asked very thoughtful and perceptive questions, and frequently made adjustments to my treatment and recovery program to make sure I continued to improve week after week. I went from being unable to perform basic life activities to back to all regular activities and on the road to a full recovery during the few months that Andrew provided PT. I went to see Andrew for hip pain that I had been having for years. I had previously been to physical therapy for it, but never felt they were able to accurately pinpoint what was happening. On my very first session, I knew I was in the right place. Andrew patiently listened to me explain all the instances that cause the pain, I was able to demonstrate situations where it occurs. I also was able to talk about my goals for what I'd like to do that this is holding me back from. After a thorough evaluation, Andrew took the time to explain what was going on in a clear manner, as well as showing me some images that helped me visualize the issue. Andrew walked me through about 5 excercises to begin working on at home, and with each excercise he was patient to make sure I knew exactly what to do (and answered many questions). I left extremely confident in PT in Cadence and their team. It was no longer "guessing" like I had exerperienced at other places, Andrew pinpointed the problem and left me extremely confident that I'm finally on the road to recovery. I will be recommending PT in Candence to anyone I know with pain - they know their stuff and actually care!!Posted on Google

Margo, Andrew, & Meaghan were amazing people to be around during my recovery journey from patellar knee tendonitis. Margo helped me methodically and intelligently, prioritizing recovery speed but also ensuring/educating my exercise form & habits to transfer them to outside of sessions. Would highly recommend this practice to anyone who is looking to address an issue or struggling to deal with a bunch of pain they’ve been putting off dealing with. PT in Cadence is genuinely an investment, financially and qualitatively The place is also beautiful - with some cute plants, peak-condition equipment, and basically a comprehensive gym area as well as refreshments when they strategically ask you to push yourself during some harder exercises… Their use of tech not just for helpful appointment/billing reminders but also the advanced online portal for reviewing a triaged list of exercises alongside instructions and demos of them is really impressive. Give these wonderful people a raise!!!!!! 😎Posted on Google

Couldn’t say enough good things about PT in Cadence— and especially Margo Bossom. I started seeing Margo in my first or second trimester of pregnancy for “pre-hab” pelvic floor strengthening. By third trimester she was one of my favorite members of my pregnancy care team. Now, my son is 6 months old and I still see her regularly, at first for post partum physical recovery and now for general regaining strength and flexibility. Margo has deep expertise in holistic women’s health and anatomy and I could not recommend her more enthusiastically to anyone pregnant, post partum or recovering from any type of injury.Posted on Google

Meaghan and Andrew are the best PTs around. They are highly knowledgeable, fantastic listeners, care about you as a whole person, and have created a welcoming and calming space. In my experience working with PTs elsewhere, I've found most just assign blanket exercises based on a quick diagnosis. Meaghan and Andrew are the opposite. They bring great curiosity to each injury and spend time working to understand what you're feeling and why it might be going on. I appreciate that they want to get to the root cause of an issue and look at how injuries and body parts are interconnected. I can't say enough good things about PT in Cadence and recommend them to everyone I know! Thank you Andrew and Meaghan!!Posted on Google

Meaghan is one of the best PT's I've seen. She is very knowledgeable about looking at a person's postural integration and, assuming the problem isn't from a specific injury, how the source of the problem might be different from where the pain is felt. She is also very good at taking a person's lifestyle into account when giving recommendations for remediation and will individualize her treatment plan. In other words her work integrates the whole person. I highly recommend her for everyone seeking PT care.Posted on Google

I have been working with Meaghan Harwood for many years now, through two hip replacements and two knee replacements. She is so knowledgeable and skillful at overseeing the exercises and stretches that have helped me return to full functionality in very short order. She combines this technical wisdom with a very individualized approach that has helped me succeed in my "homework" exercises between visits. And then, when I had some shoulder issues, she suggested that her husband, Andrew Provost would be good to help with that. And I found the same combination of knowledge and tailored exercise program with him. These Physical Therapists are the very best. They care for the whole person, not just the hip or knee that is the subject of the latest issues. I wouldn't go anywhere else.Posted on Google

Meaghan is incredibly good at her job, and I feel very grateful to have found her. She has helped me diagnose multiple issues across multiple body parts, and as long as I do the prescribed exercises, I always see improvement. The exercises are reasonable and easy to fit into my day, and taper off as the injury heals. I still do the pared-down exercises to prevent reinjury. Sometimes the root cause is more obscure and not the most common cause so I'm always impressed Meaghan is able to figure it out so quickly (and I worry a little that other PTs may not be able to do so, so I have followed Meaghan to her new practice). I used to feel overwhelmed when I got an injury but I am less stressed now because I know it can be fixed!Posted on Google

When osteoarthritis in my left hip and Achilles tendonitis in my left heel ganged up on me, my beloved yoga teacher gave me invaluable advice…in one word: Andrew!! And she was right! Now it’s my turn to pass along the good news. Andrew is a very knowledgeable and experienced physical therapist. He uses a variety of techniques to reduce pain and promote mobility and strength. He knows what questions to ask. He also listens to my questions and answers them very thoughtfully (and patiently). He has taught me my “homework” exercises and continues to make sure I am doing them properly. And when I do them, I feel that we are working together. Not only do I have complete confidence in his expertise, but I really appreciate his kindness and gentleness. A big extra is his quiet sense of humor. I must add that Andrew and Meaghan have set up a very pleasing and comfortable new clinic space, with a number of thoughtful touches. As anyone who has worked with them would expect, the relaxed and friendly atmosphere makes for a peaceful and positive experience. It’s almost like a family. Long live PT in Cadence!!! For the past four years, Meaghan has been absolutely lifesaver, keeping me healthy and competing through ongoing nagging chronic injuries, as well as some acute ones. She is a compassionate and brilliant physical therapist, who has a vast knowledge of anatomy and movement mechanics. Her ability to assess and understand root causes of chronic pain and build effective and evolving programs for rehab, strength, and/or prevention is unparalleled. I have been a competitive ultimate player and elite athlete for over 20 years, but until Meaghan I had never found a PT who was actually interested in the sport and took the time to fully understand its impact on bodies. That is just one example of how she is always deepening learning and expanding her practices in ways that benefits all of her clients. Meaghan cares deeply about the people she works with and is committed to helping you achieve your goals. Whether a pulled muscle, sprained ankle, tendinitis, chronic backpain, recovering from surgery, or something else, she will figure out what you need and get you moving in the right direction. I am so grateful for everything Meaghan has done to help me stay on the field and running. I recommend PT In Cadence for any and all injuries or chronic aches and pain!Posted on Google

I always feel confident in her hands because she tailors each session to her patient's specific needs, making sure you feel both challenged and supported. There’s only one other PT I would trust if she’s away, and that’s Andrew. Thankfully, he’s also a therapist at PT in Cadence! You really can't go wrong.Posted on Google

I couldn't recommend Andrew and Meaghan any more highly. I have been using their PT services for close to ten years now. They are extremely knowledgeable and take the time to understand what is going on. The treatment and exercise/stretching routines they have provided have helped tremendously. They are both fantastic!Posted on Google

I met Andrew on the recommendation of my sister, after a hip operation and having a hard time walking. Andrew was very professional when I met him. I was impressed with his careful approach and his cheerful outlook. He did not just tell me to do movements to improve my walking, he carefully and thoughtfully directed me to the best movements for my condition. It did help and after few sessions I was a walking normally. I highly recommend Andrew. Samia awadPosted on Google

Andrew and Meaghan are both fantastic therapists. I have specifically worked with Andrew for SI Joint/hip issues where he performed soft tissue mobilization, joint mobilizations and dry needling. It helped immensely and allowed me to return to marathon training at that time. You cannot go wrong by choosing Andrew and Meaghan as your physical therapists!Posted on Google

Superb expertise, Professionalism, Care and Compassion I have had chronic back pain for years. I have had multiple surgeries and have seen many physical therapists. When my spouse suggested that I contact Andrew, I was doubtful. His return email to my inquiry was prompt warm and simply promised that he will do all you can. For five years I have been coming to see Andrew. He has held my hand with great compassion through the flare ups and encouraged me to be adventurous and make the best of it when the pain is minimal or gone. He asks to review the imaging studies I do and stays in touch with my orthopedic surgeon when the going is rough Andrew does not just treat your body. He works hard to understand you and how you deal with your pain or infirmity. His approach is careful, his oultook is hopeful, and his empathy is boundless. I am privileged to have Andrew as my therapist. He is the best one I ever had among a long list over the past 25 years. Grab an appointment with him or his equally competent and wonderful partner Megan. I am confident you will be sharing my feelings.Posted on Google

A duo of seasoned therapists complements each other at PT in Cadence to provide superb and compassionate care. I highly recommend them for the breath of knowledge, experience, versatility and follow up care. I first meet Andrew on the recommendation of my doctor just before the pandemic after my second total hip replacement. Andrew understood that it was going to take time to align the hip, build back the muscles I had not been using and make a full recovery. His attention to detail, ability to listen, broad knowledge and encouragement allowed me to overcome the pain, build back my strength and be able to walk for few miles. When I developed lower back pain, Andrew checked my X-rays and consulted Megan. They concluded that in my effort to have a straight back I was overextending and causing back pain. I learned to breathe and relax a specific pelvic floor muscle. Megan guided me efficiently and successfully through it. She is just phenomenal. Last year when I was travelling, I sustained a fall, and my back was hurting. I reached out to Andrew. He went beyond the call of duty. Over zoom and after a thorough exam, he showed me how to do some stretches with the help of my husband. It was a life saver! I am very fortunate to have met Megan and Andre. I feel comfortable to be true to my pain because I know that they will find a different way to address the issue successfully.Posted on Google

I have had the pleasure of working with both Andrew and Meaghan through rehabbing back from a full Achilles tear. Knowledgable. Personable. Skilled. Attentive. I could go on. 10/10 I would trust them with any physical therapy needs. They have been amazing and I have felt substantial growth towards my goals of increased mobility and calf strength [and decreased pain] through receiving graston and dry needling services. They have made dry needling an enjoyable experience somehow :-)Posted on Google

I have worked with Andrew Provost recently for several issues. I had a broken humerus in 3 places due to a nasty fall, and then there was resulting sciatica also from that fall. I have been to PT previously at different hospitals, and his treatment is far superior to any that I had received. I am particularly thrilled to be pushed to do more than I think I can, because as an end result, he made me stronger. I am now working with Andrew and Dr. Meg at PT in Cadence at their new location in Watertown, as I am now on Mounjaro and am working to maintain my strength, flexibility and keep up my muscle tone. It should be noted that I am 74, and feel that they treat me with respect, kindness and compassion.Posted on Google

I have been seeing Andrew for years, and he is the best! He is flexible, kind, and most importantly, knowledgeable. He takes all aspects of your health into account, and will find ways to help that don't exacerbate any other issues. He listens to feedback and offers advice. He was the one who informed me that I had a serious issue in my neck, which led to me having surgery I didn't know I needed, but could have been very bad otherwise. I highly recommend him to anyone who needs physical therapy!Posted on Google

10/10 I have been seeing Andrew for rehab after ACL knee surgery (he came highly recommended). Under his expertise and care, I am able to resume playing competitive sports back at the level I was at before my injury. The therapists here listen to their patients' needs and concerns and create customized treatment plans to ensure the best results!Posted on Google

I've been working with Andy for nearly 7 years over three separate issues: ACL tear rehab, a slipped disc in my back, and a second round of knee issues because of sports. Each time, Andy has been nothing short of amazing. His expertise, patience, and tailored approach have been instrumental in my recovery and ongoing progress. Andy takes the time to understand the specifics of each injury and creates a program that is both effective and engaging. He strikes the perfect balance between pushing you to reach your limits and ensuring you’re always safe and supported. If you’re looking for a PT who genuinely cares about your recovery and success, Andy is the absolute best!Posted on Google

I've only had a few appointments with Andrew at PT in Cadence but Andrew and Meaghan are great. From the very first session, Andrew took the time to listen to my knee “history” and understand the specifics of my condition. They developed a comprehensive plan aimed at improving my mobility, strength, and aiding in the recovery from my most recent injury. Andrew and Meagan's approach is both professional and compassionate, making me feel comfortable and confident in the treatment process. Thanks to their expertise and dedication, I’m noticing improvements in my knee’s functionality and overall strength. They have a really nice office, too! I highly recommend PT in Cadence to anyone in need of physical therapy. As a Watertown resident, I love being able to support a new Watertown business, too!Posted on Google

I had my first session with Andrew at the impressive, brand new facility. I received a tour as well as the same excellent PT I have come to expect. Andrew is a true professional with a kind, personal approach that puts me at ease. He Asks good questions and tailors each treatment to address both short and long term issues. I am 80 years old and Andrew has enabled me to become active again in masters track and field throws!+0Posted on Google

"I started working with Andrew after I partially tore my Achilles and the surgeon told me "Andrew is the best." Not only is my ankle fully restored, but Andrew has helped me rehab after a total hip replacement, a chronic shoulder injury and all sorts of postpartum fallout. He is competent, kind and calm. I can't begin to guess how many times I've referred people his way. I've observed him helping elite athletes, frail senior citizens, high school football players and many like me. We all keep coming back for more!Posted on Google

I recently had the pleasure of working with both Andrew and Meaghan, and I couldn’t be more satisfied with my experience. They are incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely caring. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and well taken care of. They took the time to thoroughly assess my condition and tailor a personalized treatment plan that addressed my specific needs. Their attention to detail and commitment to my recovery were evident in every session. The clinic itself is clean, well-organized, and equipped with modern facilities. Thanks to their expertise and support, I’ve made significant progress and am feeling much better. I highly recommend PT In Cadence to anyone in need of physical therapy. Their exceptional care is unlike that of any other physical therapy clinic I have ever been to.Google rating score: 5.0 of 5, based on 102 reviewsVerified by TrustindexTrustindex verified badge is the Universal Symbol of Trust.
